IPhone 8 features 3D Laser system?

The laser-based focusing system was first seen on the LG G3. With this technology, the camera can focus objects faster.

It is now widely used on Android devices, but there are ura-ura it may be used on iPhone 8.

According to the FastCompany report, the iPhone 8 will be equipped with 3D VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) laser focusing system.

This system differs not only to speed up the iPhone focusing process, but will facilitate the calculation of object distance from the device for Augmented Reality (AR) applications.

It further reinforced the report when Apple was asked to order components from Lumentum and Finisar, the company that produced VCSEL.Tips:
